Welcome back to NoteLoft Newsletter - the shortcut for founders who want to go from MVP to scale. Every week (ish - I’m working on it), my goal is to share what actually works when building software, so you can spend more time on deals, growth, and going to Pilates.

If you need help taking your product from MVP to scale, get in touch! We’ve grown our tech team, and we can’t wait to help you.

Let’s get into it!

If you're thinking about quitting your job (or lets be real... waiting to get laid off) to start your company, the question isn’t “Can I start?” It’s “Can this become big enough to be worth the risk?”

That's what Jensen Huang did before he started NVIDIA.

His friends, Chris and Curtis, asked him to quit his job and start a company with them. He had one requirement; this is from The NVIDIA Way: Jensen Huang and the Making of a Tech Giant:

"He told them that he would join them if they could prove that the start-up could eventually generate $50 million in annual sales".

Most founders ask "how do I start?" Jensen asked "is this worth starting?"

Before you quit your job, drain your savings, or spend the next year “building an MVP,” you need to pressure-test the opportunity.

So my question for you is this: the thing you're trying to create: can it become a real company? Reply and let me know why or why not.

talk soon,

LaToya
